Catching up - Indianapolis child photographer

I’ve been neglecting my poor blog lately!  I’m going to catch you up quickly with some recent sessions that I haven’t blogged yet.  I vow to keep more on task!  And with my upcoming maternity leave, I’ll have some time to update this with some of my personal pictures - GASP!  Yes!

For now, here’s some recents!  First off, T. had a first birthday session - man, that was fun.  He tore into that big cupcake!

More to come!

sneak peek of M. - Indianapolis Child Photographer

M. came in for her 2nd session of her baby plan the other day, and goodness, was she all smiles!  And it was even a evening session, and with no nap!  What a trooper.  She is a little baby model!

sweet little R. - Indianapolis Baby Photography

R. came in for her first baby plan session - I photographed her when she was still in her mama’s belly, and again when she was born.  Now she’s 3 months old, and such a little darling!  She loved the sound of the vacuum, and being held by her daddy.

sneak peek of T. - indianapolis maternity photography

I was so excited when Theresa & Andrew let me play today - I love it when clients let me try some new things.  So when I got out Maggie’s Baby Alive and her fingerpaint, and they didn’t flinch, I ran with it.  And we came out with some pretty cool teeny tiny baby feet.  I am in LOVE with this image.  Just in love.  So thank you, Theresa & Andrew, for not thinking I was crazy - at least for this.  You guys were a lot of fun - I can’t wait to meet your little one!

sneak peek of A.

A. came in last night for her maternity session with her husband, and they were a lot of fun!  Even though she’s 36 weeks pregnant, A. had the most perfect belly!  As one of my last maternity clients before my own maternity leave (I’ll be starting my leave in June-ish), it was a real wake-up call to see where I’m going to be in just a short couple of months!  I hope that I still have the fun attitude that A. does when I’m 36 weeks pregnant!

Doesn’t hurt that she’s gorgeous!  Just makes my job easier!

sneak peek of D.

Here is 9 month old D., who came up all the way from Bloomington for his session today.   I’m so glad you came all this way, E., for the session today, and I’m humbled that you chose me to help remember this very special time in your new relationship with your son.   I was so happy to see this first image when I uploaded your pictures, because I just know that this is what you wanted to capture - how happy you both are together.

Don’t you just want to squeeze him?  I loved him!

bunch of birthdays!

Here is little L., on her last session of her baby plan.  I’ve been able to photograph her 5 times, now, and she’s grown so much in the last year.  I’m going to miss seeing her every 3 months!

Happy Birthday, big girl!

sneak peek of H. - indianapolis baby photography

Here’s little H!  This was my 5th session with him…though only 4 of them have been out of utero.  I’ve done the maternity, the newborn, and 3, 6, and 9 months with H. and it’s been really fun watching him grow into this really cool little person, with so much personality!  And his cute little toofer doesn’t hurt either!  (can you see it, it’s adorable!)

Major Changes - Digital Packages for 2009

As many of you may know, I’m pregnant and expecting my 2nd child in July 2009.  We’re immensely excited, as we had been trying to conceive for about 18-24 months when we finally got pregnant.  With 2009 being a busy year, I’m making some major business changes - mainly removing my bulky print packages, and adding in digital packages.  I’d say 75% of clients that contact me ask about digital packages, and I always wanted to offer something more.  Well, now I will be.  Here is how they will work!

 Digital Package A  $400:

Includes 20 full resolution files, with 20 matching 5×7 prints for color reference.  Included will be usage rights for printing for personal use.  Prints will be uploaded to a consumer lab called mpix.com so you may order online.  This lab is associated with a professional lab, so I know and trust their results.

Digital Package B  $550:

Includes ALL finished images from session, along with all the matching 5×7 prints for color reference, and a client account set up with mpix.com.  Included will be usage rights for printing for personal use.  In addition to all your files, you will also receive one of my custom designed 10×20 storyboards.

Digital Package C  $750 (maternity/newborn):

Includes 20 full resolution files from maternity session, with 20 matching 5×7 prints for color reference.  Also includes ALL  finished images from newborn session, with matching 5×7 prints for color reference.  Included will be usage rights for printing for personal use.  Also included with Package C is a custom designed 10×20 storyboard, and 20 custom designed, press-printed trifold birth announcements.

I will continue to offer my mounted prints, storybooks, gallery wrap canvas prints, and press-printed cards a la carte with a digital package purchase, and the package prices are in addition to my session fees.

Also, as a special introductory offer to my past clients, if you had a session with me prior to 12.25.08, you are eligible to receive Digital Package B of your 2008 session for only $199.  This is a great offer for clients that may have wanted to purchase more of the images, or are interested in using the files in scrapbooking, digital formats, or digital picture frames.  Please contact me for more details, and be sure to check your email for a update from me.

If you have any questions, or would like to book a session, please contact me at 317 773 6096 or k.hibbetts@sbcglobal.net

sneak peek of reese - indianapolis newborn photography

Oh, sweet little Reese.  Only 5 days old - she was super squishy and super adorable.  And she did SO good at her session today!  She even opened her eyes for a bit, and followed me with her eyes, with focus that most newborns don’t have.  I was impressed!  She was pretty sleepy, though, which was good, because that meant I got lots of beautiful, sleeping newborn squishy shots!
